Discotek Media Details REBORN! Anime’s SDBD Release and More

In case you missed it, yesterday was another exciting Discotek Day, in which distributor Discotek Media regaled us all with some of its upcoming release plans. This time the titles in question are all due out this September and include the likes of Angel Cop, the Devilman OVA series, REBORN!, and more.

Angel Cop (DVD)

Release date: September 25

Contents: English dub and the original Japanese audio with unedited English subs. 

Synopsis:

IN A WORLD WHERE THE ONLY THING MORE BRUTAL THAN CRIME IS LAW…

 

Japan is under attack. A group of violent terrorists, known as the Red May, have launched a wave of bombings and murder across Tokyo, threatening the stability of the entire country. In response, the government calls in the Special Security Force, an elite law enforcement division with the authorization to use any methods necessary to protect public safety.

 

As the Red May continue their assault, the SSF unleash their deadliest weapon: Angel, a woman whose beauty is matched only by her skill in combat. Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Monkey Magic (DVD)

Synopsis:

Based on the legendary tale Journey to the West, Monkey Magic focuses on Goku, a monkey torn between becoming a savior to his people and a lone, arrogant warrior. Born from a mysterious meteor that crash-lands on Mount Flower Fruit, Goku has an indestructible head and a stubborn streak. He becomes the leader of his people and tries to protect them from the local humans who would steal their resources.

 

Spurred on by his own ambition and the whisperings of Batty, an evil minion of the ruler of the Underworld, Goku sets off to learn magic and become the strongest being in the universe. He acquires various amazing skills and returns home to save his friends, but his violent revenge against the humans angers the deities in the Celestial Realm.

 

They send a fleet against him and more, but after several spectacular battles, the gods try a new tack, inviting Goku and his friends for a visit to paradise. Synopsis:

Synopsis:
